Commissions

Over the years, I have had the privilege of creating commissioned paintings for private collectors, families, and special projects. Each one begins differently, but they all share something important: the painting has to come from a place I have experienced myself.

I approach commissions selectively because I want every painting to remain true to the way I create. I don’t simply reproduce a photograph provided to me. Instead, a commission becomes a collaboration — a conversation between your story and mine.

You may come to me with a meaningful place, a memory, a particular season, trail, or feeling you want captured. From there, I draw from landscapes I have personally explored and photographed, often returning to the mountains to find the light, perspective, or moment that feels right.

The result is something deeply personal to the collector, while still carrying my own experience within it.

I don’t paint from photos. I earn them. And commissioned work is no exception.
